Terms of service
1. Introduction
This website (the “Site”) is owned and operated by Goodstore NZ Limited, trading as Health NZ (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing, browsing, or making a purchase from the Site, you (“you”, “the customer”, “the user”) agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”), our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and any other policies displayed on the Site.
Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Site or place an order.
2. Accuracy of Information
We strive to ensure the accuracy of all information provided on the Site, including product descriptions, pricing, images, ingredients, stock availability, and other content.
However, we do not warrant that such information is error-free, complete, or current.
We reserve the right to correct any errors or update information at any time, including after an order has been placed.
3. Orders & Order Acceptance
Your order constitutes an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept, decline, or cancel any order for reasons including, but not limited to:
- Product unavailability
- Pricing or typographical errors
- Suspicion of fraud or unauthorised activity
- Incomplete or incorrect customer information
If cancellation occurs after payment has been processed, a refund will be issued to the original payment method, unless otherwise required by law.
4. Pricing & Payment
All prices are displayed in New Zealand dollars (NZD), unless otherwise stated.
Prices may change at any time without notice.
By submitting an order, you confirm that the payment information provided is accurate, valid, and authorised.
We are not responsible for exchange rate fluctuations or additional fees charged by your bank, card provider, or payment provider.
5. Shipping, Delivery & Risk of Loss
We offer domestic and international shipping options. All delivery timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
Risk of loss or damage passes to you once the goods are handed to the carrier.
Delays caused by customs, inspections, courier operations, incorrect delivery information, or circumstances outside our control are not our responsibility.
6. Click & Collect
Click & Collect may be available for selected products and selected pickup locations only. It may not be available for all products, all orders, or all locations. Availability depends on current stock levels at the selected pickup location.
Online stock availability does not always guarantee that Click & Collect will be available for a specific product or location. If an item in your Click & Collect order becomes unavailable, our staff will contact you by email or phone to assist with alternative options, which may include cancellation or a refund.
Please wait until you receive a “Ready for pickup” notification before visiting the selected pickup location. Click & Collect orders can be collected only after the order is ready, and only during the selected pickup location’s business hours.
When collecting your order, you may be asked to provide your order confirmation email, order number, and the name used for the order. Health NZ may request additional identification where required.
If someone else is collecting the order on your behalf, they must be able to provide the order confirmation or order number.
You may cancel and request a refund for a Click & Collect order before the order has been picked up, subject to our Refund Policy and any non-refundable item conditions.
Once a Click & Collect order has been picked up, change-of-mind returns or refunds are not accepted for health supplements, vitamins, functional foods, honey products, perishable or consumable items, opened items, used items, or items that are not in their original condition.
If an item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect, you may be entitled to a replacement, exchange, or refund in accordance with our Refund Policy and applicable New Zealand consumer law.
For Click & Collect orders, exchanges may be available at the pickup location if the replacement item is in stock. If the replacement item is not available at the pickup location, a refund may be processed instead.
Refunds for Click & Collect orders cannot be processed directly at the pickup location. All refunds must be processed by Health NZ’s online or head office team and will be credited to the original payment method only.
If you paid by credit or debit card, please allow approximately 2-3 business days for the refund to appear, depending on your bank or card provider.
Click & Collect orders will be held for up to 7 days from the “Ready for pickup” notification. If the order is not collected within this timeframe, the order may be automatically cancelled and refunded to the original payment method.
7. International Orders, Duties & Taxes
Responsibility for Import Charges
For orders shipped outside New Zealand (“International Orders”), all import duties, taxes, customs fees, clearance charges, and similar costs (“Import Taxes & Duties”) are solely your responsibility.
Not Included in Product Prices
Import Taxes & Duties are not included in our product prices or shipping fees. We do not collect, estimate, or pay these charges on your behalf.
Undelivered, Delayed, or Returned Shipments
If Import Taxes & Duties remain unpaid, your shipment may be delayed, rejected, or returned. In such cases, you are responsible for all unpaid Import Taxes & Duties, plus:
- Return shipping costs
- Re-delivery costs, if applicable
- Customs handling, storage, and processing fees (“Additional Costs”)
Refunds & Cancellations
If you request a cancellation or refund after an International Order has shipped, or the order cannot be delivered due to unpaid Import Taxes & Duties, your refund will be issued after deducting:
- Original shipping cost
- Return shipping cost
- All Import Taxes & Duties and Additional Costs incurred
Proof of Payment
We may request proof of payment for Import Taxes & Duties. If this is not provided, we may deduct estimated charges from the refund.
Consumer Rights
Nothing in this section overrides mandatory consumer rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
8. Returns & Refunds
Online returns and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
Unless required by law, we may not accept returns for change of mind on certain products, including supplements, consumables, health items, honey products, or personal care products.
For International Orders, Section 7 prevails in case of conflict.
For Click & Collect orders, Section 6 and our Refund Policy apply.
9. Product Safety & Health Disclaimer
Products sold on this Site, including vitamins, supplements, and wellness items, are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
Information provided on the Site is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice.
Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before using any product, especially if you are pregnant, nursing, taking medication, or managing a medical condition.
10. User Accounts
If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details and for all activity conducted under your account.
We may suspend or terminate accounts engaged in misuse, fraud, or violation of these Terms.
11. Prohibited Uses
You must not use the Site for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose. Prohibited uses include:
- Violating intellectual property rights
- Attempting to breach Site security
- Scraping, crawling, or automated data extraction
- Distributing malware or harmful code
- Interfering with Site functionality or other users
We may restrict or block access for prohibited conduct.
12. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site, including text, images, graphics, logos, videos, layout, and trademarks, is owned by Goodstore NZ Limited or its licensors.
You may only use Site content for personal, non-commercial shopping purposes. Reproduction or redistribution requires our written consent.
13. Third-Party Websites & Services
The Site may contain links to external websites or services that are not operated or controlled by us.
We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or policies of such third-party sites. Accessing them is at your own risk.
14. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Site and all products are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free access, or the accuracy of any information.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from:
- Your use of the Site
- Your purchase or use of products
- Delays in delivery
- Inaccuracies or errors in Site content
Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the lesser of the product purchase price or the minimum amount required by law.
16. Promotions, Discount Codes & eGift Cards
Promotions, discount codes, and gift cards may be subject to additional terms and may be amended or withdrawn at any time.
We may refuse promotions that appear to be misused, duplicated, unauthorised, or fraudulent.
eGift Cards
eGift Cards cannot be reloaded, resold, or used to purchase other eGift Cards. All eGift Cards are issued in New Zealand Dollars (NZD).
eGift Cards are issued by Health NZ, operated by Goodstore NZ Limited, and are available in fixed denominations of $50, $100, $150, and $200 New Zealand Dollars.
eGift Cards are delivered electronically to the purchaser’s nominated email address.
If you select “I want to send this as a gift”, the eGift Card will be sent directly to the recipient’s email. You may also add the recipient’s name and a personal message.
We are not responsible for undeliverable eGift Cards due to incorrect or incomplete email addresses provided by the purchaser.
eGift Cards can only be redeemed online at healthnewzealand.co.nz. To redeem, enter the eGift Card code at checkout. eGift Cards may be used for full or partial payment. Any remaining balance will stay on the card until expiry.
eGift Cards are valid for 12 months from the date of issue. Any unused balance after the expiry date will be forfeited.
eGift Cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash, except as required under New Zealand consumer law, including where goods purchased with an eGift Card are faulty, damaged, or not as described. Please choose carefully when purchasing an eGift Card.
Treat eGift Cards like cash. Lost, stolen, or misused cards will not be replaced or refunded. We are not responsible for unauthorised use once an eGift Card has been issued.
17. Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, supply chain disruptions, government actions, war, or labour disputes.
18. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively by New Zealand courts unless mandatory consumer laws apply in your jurisdiction.
19. Changes to These Terms
We may update or revise these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be published on the Site.
Continued use of or access to the Site constitutes acceptance of any updated Terms.
20. Online Store, Click & Collect & Physical Stores
The Health NZ brand may also appear at various physical retail stores. These physical stores may be independently operated and may not be operated by Goodstore NZ Limited, the operator of the Health NZ online store at https://healthnewzealand.co.nz.
As a result, prices, promotions, product availability, loyalty programmes, shipping fees, pickup availability, and return/refund policies may differ between the online store, Click & Collect locations, and independently operated physical stores.
Prices, promotions, discounts, and special offers available on the Site may not be available in physical stores, and vice versa. Physical stores may set their own pricing and promotional terms. We do not offer price matching between online and physical stores.
Click & Collect orders are online orders placed through the Site and collected from a selected pickup location. Click & Collect availability does not guarantee that the same products, prices, or promotions are available for direct purchase at a physical store.
Products purchased on the Site must be returned according to our online Refund Policy. Physical stores operate their own return and refund policies, and online purchases cannot be returned at independently operated stores unless the store explicitly agrees.
Online stock availability does not reflect or guarantee stock in physical stores. Each store maintains its own inventory.
Certain promotions, discount codes, loyalty offers, and gift cards may be exclusive to the online store or to individual physical stores. Each store may run different promotional campaigns at its own discretion.
21. Facebook Login Data Deletion Request
If you signed in to Health NZ using Facebook Login and would like your associated personal data deleted, please contact us at:

Please include:
- Your full name
- The email address associated with your account
- A note that you are requesting deletion of data associated with Facebook Login
Once we verify your request, we will delete or anonymise the relevant data associated with your Facebook Login, unless we are required to retain certain information for legal, tax, fraud prevention, or operational reasons.
