Formulated with algae sourced DHA, an omega 3 fatty acid, bio island DHA for kids helps support the health of the brain and nervous system. DHA also helps maintain healthy growth and development for infants and children. This product comes in fish shaped softgel capsules with a neutral taste and easy dosage.

Infants 0 - 6 months: exclusive breastfeeding is recommended, consult your healthcare professional and use only as directed.

7 months - 6 years : take 1 capsule daily

7 - 11 years : take 2 capsules daily

12+ years : take 3 capsules daily, or as directed by your healthcare professional.

* For children under 5 years, cut the capsule tail and squeeze the contents onto a spoon before administering into mouth. Alternatively, the dosage can be squeezed onto food.

Bio Island products use softgel capsules made from pharmaceutical grade gelatine (bovine). This ingredient is considered safe to use for oral consumption and can be easily digested.

Bio Island DHA for Kids uses DHA sourced from microalgae and are both suitable for vegan or vegetarians, only when the capsule is pierced and only the oil is consumed. However, this is personal preference as some vegetarians or vegans may not want to consume due to the oil having touched the bovine gelatine capsule.
